Marie Ramos
Pressnt Founder and CEO, Photographer, Philanthropist and Author
Marie has spent more than 20 years devoted to memory keeping, artistry, and compassion. Based in Sydney, she is the founder of Marie Ramos Photography & Baby Imprints, where she pioneered a way of preserving family milestones by combining fine art photography with hand-crafted ceramic imprints. Her work has been embraced by thousands of families who treasure her creations as heirlooms that honour both life’s beginnings and its most fragile moments.
Her philanthropic efforts have raised over $200,000 for causes close to her heart, including the Love Mum book supporting Miracle Babies Foundation and the Connie’s Heart installation, which raised $111,000 for breast cancer research and is now a permanent piece at the Garvan Institute. She also founded Oliver’s Gift, offering grieving families free hand and footprint imprints of babies, children, and adults who have passed away. This is a tangible way to hold onto love in the midst of loss.
Most recently, Marie shared her journey in Heart Led, a deeply personal book about following love as life’s guide. Of all her achievements, the role that matters most to her is being a mother to her two beautiful children, who inspire her daily and keep her grounded in what truly matters.
Her work from first hellos to final goodbyes has always been guided by the belief that love should last forever. Pressnt is the natural progression of her life’s mission: a safe, meaningful space where families everywhere can protect what matters most. Together with her best friend Karen, she envisions Pressnt as a sanctuary where memories can be preserved, stories shared, and legacies live on for generations.
